This Privacy Policy describes how Write One Publications, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information gathered through The Write One app and website at thewriteoneapp.com ("the App").

What information we collect

When you use The Write One, we collect:

• Your first name and email address, provided voluntarily when you start the blueprint
• Your responses to the guided questions in the app (genre, reader profile, publishing path, and related answers)
• Standard usage data collected automatically by Google Analytics (pages visited, time on site, device type, general location)

How we use your information

We use your information solely to:

• Deliver your completed book blueprint via email
• Add you to Stefanie Newell's email list, hosted by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), where you'll receive writing, publishing, and coaching resources
• Improve the app experience over time using anonymized analytics data

What we do not do

We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your book idea, blueprint answers, or personal details for any purpose other than delivering your results and sending you relevant email content.

Email communications

By submitting your email address, you agree to receive email communications from Stefanie Newell and Write One Publications, LLC. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email. We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to manage our email list. Kit's privacy policy is available at kit.com/privacy.

Data storage

Your in-progress answers are stored temporarily in your browser's local storage on your device only. This data is cleared when you complete the interview or start over. No answers are stored on external servers without your consent at the point of email submission.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the App. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized data. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at admin@writeonepublications.com.

Terms of use

The Write One is provided free of charge for personal use by first-time nonfiction authors. The content, questions, framework, and coaching notes are the intellectual property of Stefanie Newell and Write One Publications, LLC. Reproduction, resale, or distribution of any part of this tool without written permission is not permitted.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
